Make it short !

Télé-Québec

Broadcast : 2007-2009

Make It Short ! is a documentary series that explores the creative universe of young directors and screen writers. Every week Make It Short ! follows four young film makers in which two directors and two screen writers have to produce and write a two minute short fiction piece. Each “short” has to work within the time and budget constraints established by the show’s production team.  At the very end of the piece viewers get to see two different productions, two different editings done with the same sets and actors !

This format enables young and talented creators to work with veteran production teams and experienced actors in a playful and dynamic context.  Guided by the show’s host, the viewers follow the young creators as they reveal the powers of their imaginations while facing an ”against the clock” situation in order to deliver the best movie they can.
